Meetings, Conferences & Events in Nusa Dua, Bali

Paradisus by Meliá Bali hosts meetings, conferences, gala dinners and incentive groups of up to 270 guests indoors and 300 outdoors, across six venues on a beachfront estate in Nusa Dua — 3 minutes by car from the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) and 12 km, about 20 minutes by road, from the airport. The largest indoor space is the Puri Bali Grand Ballroom: 701 m², a seven-metre ceiling and a column-free floor of 38.5 × 18.2 metres. The whole group can stay on site — the resort has 492 rooms and suites, on bed-and-breakfast or all-inclusive rates — and half-day and full-day meeting packages already include meals such as lunch.

Why the location matters for a group

  • 3 minutes by car from the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC). Large congresses can hold the plenary at the BNDCC and keep delegates, breakouts, dining and the gala on our beachfront estate.
  • 12 km, about 20 minutes by road, from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport: a short transfer, which matters when a whole group lands on one flight.
  • Inside the ITDC tourism complex in Nusa Dua, on the beach, close to the Bali Collection shopping centre.

Puri Bali Grand Ballroom

At 701 m² with a seven-metre ceiling, the Grand Ballroom takes 270 guests theatre-style or standing, and 210 for a seated banquet. The floor is column-free across its full 38.5 × 18.2 metres, so sightlines hold from any seat and staging can go anywhere.

It also divides. Puri Bali Ballroom 1 (473 m², 170 guests) and Puri Bali Ballroom 2 (228 m², 100 guests) can run as two independent rooms — a plenary in one and breakouts or a buffet in the other — then open into a single hall for the gala dinner. A dedicated ballroom foyer handles registration and coffee breaks.

The outdoor venue

  • Taman Surya — a beachfront garden open to the sea, for 300 guests at a cocktail reception or 200 at a banquet. The setting for gala nights and beach weddings.

Meeting rooms and boardrooms

All meeting rooms have been newly renovated. Batur and Bedugul are matching 124 m² rooms, each seating 80 theatre-style or 70 classroom, with projector, high-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated coffee-break space that can be set inside the room or in the hallway. Buyan 1, 2 and Tampak Siring 1, 2 are 30 m² boardrooms for up to 10 people, fitted with an 86-inch touchscreen.

When the group stays all-inclusive

Choosing all-inclusive rates changes the arithmetic of a group programme. Every delegate on an all-inclusive rate already has the following, with no per-head bar tab to forecast and no separate food and beverage bill to reconcile afterwards.

Dining & beverages

  • Welcome drinks and a cold towel on arrival
  • Daily buffet breakfast at Malva
  • Unlimited meals at any of the eight restaurants — Santé is reserved for The Reserve guests
  • Free flow of selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • 24-hour room service
  • Daily poolside snacks
  • Mini bar with a daily refill of selected products
  • Take-away picnic meal box, on 24 hours’ notice

Activities & wellness

  • One hour per person per day of snorkelling gear, canoeing, paddleboarding, bicycle or a yoga class
  • Free use of the sports facilities: tennis, padel, soccer and basketball
  • 20% off treatments at YHI Spa — 12 treatment rooms, plus an Eco Wellness area with a sauna and circuit pool
  • Participation in the Life Enriching Program — Balinese cultural experiences inside the resort

Excursions & experiences

  • Daily excursions to Bali’s landmarks, including Uluwatu, Tanah Lot and Taman Ayun
  • Exclusive experiences for The Reserve and Family Concierge all-inclusive guests

Incentive groups: the Destination Inclusive® programme

Incentive trips need more than a room and a dinner. Destination Inclusive® is the resort’s own curated excursion programme, built into the stay rather than bolted on:

  • Uluwatu Sacred Sights & Sounds, and the Tanah Lot & Taman Ayun Temple excursion
  • Balikaru Village Experience — a full day of cultural immersion at Belulang village on the slopes of Mount Batukaru
  • Devdan Show — Treasure of the Archipelago

A 200-guest incentive group fits comfortably: the ballroom seats them for the gala with room to spare, Taman Surya takes the same number for a beachfront banquet, and Batur and Bedugul run breakouts in parallel.

Sustainability — for groups that have to report it

Corporate buyers are increasingly asked to evidence the sustainability of the venues they book. Our programme follows Meliá Hotels International’s global policy and the Balinese Tri Hita Karana philosophy — harmony between people and God, between people, and between people and the environment. In practice:

  • Supporting the Kusamba salt farmers, whose traditional salt-making is at risk of disappearing — their salt is bought for the resort kitchens
  • Working with Desa Wisata Balikaru, creating income and jobs for the village through the Destination Inclusive® programme
  • School engagement since 2001, supporting underprivileged children with educational courses
  • Waste separation and reuse — chopsticks and satay sticks become name tags and laundry tags, used cooking oil becomes biofuel, garden waste becomes compost and food waste feeds animals
  • Plastic reduction with Texkleen — unusable hotel linen is upcycled into fabric bags for clean linen, cutting plastic bag use by 2,210 pieces between March and April 2026

Good to know when planning

  • Private events end by 10 pm
  • A private buffet needs a minimum of 50 guaranteed guests; below that a set menu is served
  • Groups of more than 50 are allocated a private venue for meals; smaller groups join the regular restaurant service
  • Check-in 15:00, check-out 12:00
  • Children under two stay and eat complimentary; ages 2 to 11 are half price on meal plans

Frequently asked questions

What is the largest meeting room at Paradisus by Meliá Bali?

Puri Bali Grand Ballroom — 701 m² with a seven-metre ceiling and a column-free floor of 38.5 × 18.2 metres. It holds 270 guests theatre-style or for a standing reception, and 210 for a seated banquet.

How many people can the resort host for an event?

Up to 270 indoors in the Grand Ballroom and up to 300 outdoors at Taman Surya. For a seated dinner the maximum is 210 indoors or 200 in the garden. Larger congresses can use the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), 3 minutes away by car, and keep accommodation, breakouts and dining at the resort.

Can the ballroom be divided into smaller rooms?

Yes. It splits into Puri Bali Ballroom 1 (473 m², 170 guests) and Puri Bali Ballroom 2 (228 m², 100 guests), which can be used independently or opened into one hall.

What is included in a meeting package?

A full day covers plenary room use for up to 8 hours with one coffee break, a group lunch and afternoon tea. A half day covers 4 hours with one coffee break and a group lunch. Both include a sound system, two wireless microphones, screen and LCD projector, pens, notepads and mineral water, with a lectern, whiteboard and flipchart on request. Groups of 50 or more also receive a complimentary secretariat room. The minimum is 10 guaranteed participants.

Is there an outdoor venue for events?

Yes. Taman Surya is an open-air beachfront garden for 300 guests at a cocktail reception or 200 at a banquet.

Do you run team building activities?

Yes. Team building is arranged on the beach, in the gardens or across the tennis, padel, soccer and basketball courts, and can be combined with the Destination Inclusive® cultural programme.

Are meals included for delegates?

Half-day and full-day meeting packages include meals such as lunch. Delegates can stay on bed-and-breakfast or all-inclusive rates; on an all-inclusive rate they dine across all eight restaurants and drink from the selected list, with no separate food and beverage billing.

How far is the resort from Bali’s airport?

12 km, about 20 minutes by road, from Ngurah Rai International Airport, within the ITDC complex in Nusa Dua.

Can delegates bring their families?

Yes, and many do. The resort has the Aquazone water park, two Kidsdom kids’ clubs for ages 4 to 12, and the YOURWAY teen club with its own bowling alley, so a delegate can extend the trip into a family holiday without changing hotels.
